Wynwood Kitchen & Bar To Host Craft Beer Dinner

Catching on to the latest trend of beer-pairing dinners is none other than the very cool, artsy Wynwood Kitchen & Bar. The word from Short Order is that on August 16, WKB will host a special Ommegang and Duvel beer dinner complete with four courses, each paired with a select craft. The specially-prepared dinner by executive chef Miguel Aguilar begins at 7:30pm and only costs $65 per person, with tax and tip included. Call 305.722.8959 to reserve your spot.

Below is the detailed menu of delectable eats and beers for each course (via Short Order):

First course: Shrimp crudo de arroz, salsa verde and pickled jalapeños paired with a Duvel Single (92 overall score on ratebeer.com, ABV of 6.8 percent).

Second course: Mache with Rainier cherries, toasted almonds, manchego cheese, citrus vinaigrette paired with an Ommegang Witte Ale (88 overall score on ratebeer.com, ABV of 5.1 percent).

Third course (the entree): Marinated duck breast with duck confit, cabbage hash, mustard cream, duck prosciutto paired with Ommegang Three Philosophers (99 overall score on ratebeer.com, ABV of 9.8 percent).

Fourth course (dessert): Molten chocolate cake with cinnamon, ancho and dulce de leche ice cream paired with Ommegang Abbey Ale (99 overall score on ratebeer.com, ABV of 8.5 percent).
